Sister Rose Vermette, R.C.D. is a Sister of our Lady of Christian Doctrine, whose Motherhouse is located in Nyack, NY.  To learn more about this group of Sisters, there is a link from the parish web site. Sister Rose is a member of the General Council of her Congregation. 

Since joining us on September 1, 2002, Sr. Rose never ceases to be amazed at the warmth of the parishioners and the number of people engaged in the many ministries of the parish.  Sister Rose's main responsibility in the parish is the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.) often referred to as the Catechumenate.  This process facilitates the faith journey of those, aged seven and older, who wish to receive the Sacrament of Baptism (Catechumens) and those who are already baptized who wish to complete the other Sacraments of Initiation: Confirmation and Eucharist (Candidates).

Sister Rose is also a certified, experienced Spiritual Director and is happy to meet with individuals who wish to deepen their relationship with God.
