The Parish Council meets on the third Monday of each month to plan and discuss parish events. According to the Constitution of the Immaculate Conception Parish Council, it “... shall be an advisory body whose recommendations become policy when ratified by the Pastor.”
The purpose of the Parish Council is threefold:
Cooperation with and advice to the Pastor with respect to any matters relating to the temporal and spiritual well-being of the Parish.
To stimulate active participation of all parishioners and provide a vehicle whereby the witness of the Christian layperson may be made more readily available to the Church of today.
To bring together the Parish family - priests, religious and laity - in a spirit of trust and cooperation to study the needs of the Parish and the local Roman Catholic Christian Community and help to resolve their problems by common deliberation and common action.
This web site and the bulletin will be used to bring you pertinent information as the year progresses.
