Father Kevin Malick

Father Malick was born on July 7, 1979 in Brooklyn, New York.  He grew up in Staten Island, where his parents, Alex and Joanne still live.  His sister, Kristin, lives in Pennsylvania with her family.

He attended St. Patrick's School through second grade and then St. Rita's School through eighth grade.  He graduated from Moore Catholic High School in 1997.  He attended St. John's University in Staten Island but switched to the St. John Neumann Minor Seminary and attended St. John's University in Queens.  He graduated in 2001 with a degree in Philosophy.

Father went on to St. Joseph's Seminary in Dunwoodie.  While a seminarian, he served at St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Harlem (Summer of 2002) and Sacred Heart Parish in Newburgh (Summers 2004-2006).

On May 12, 2007, Father Malick was ordained by Cardinal Egan.  Following his ordination, Father was made Parochial Vicar at St. Augustine's in New City.  A year later, he joined Assumption and Immaculate Conception parishes.

Father enjoys cycling, swimming, and mountain biking.
